The Paper Chase is an exhibition curated by Aaron Bondaroff and Al Moran, creative directors of O.H.W.O.W Gallery. As the title makes clear, the focus of the exhibition is on works on paper although the underlying meaning is much more involved. The Paper Chase represents the hustle that’s at the heart of each artist involved in the exhibition. One way or another, these artists pull their energy from the do-it-yourself downtown mentality. The make it happen mind set. The never not working class hero. The hustle continues from the Lower East Side to the Lower East Coast to the North Island. It’s a never ending chase for the artists represented in this exhibition, and this chase is what motivates them to create and continue their dialogue with the world.
